AGUIA takes part in a drone-based rural services pilot project in Ribeira Sacra

AGUIA’s technology joins a pioneering initiative led by INECO and the SIAM Cluster, exploring the use of drones to deliver key services in rural areas.

AGUIA was proud to take part in a pilot project in Galicia’s Ribeira Sacra, led by INECO in collaboration with the SIAM Cluster. This innovative project is testing the use of drones for essential rural services such as package delivery, precision agriculture, emergency response, and infrastructure inspection.

During the event, AGUIA showcased its SPA – Smart Pavement Analytics solution, demonstrating its capacity to monitor road conditions through artificial intelligence and computer vision. A tool designed to make road infrastructure management more efficient, safer, and more sustainable.

These types of initiatives mark an important step forward in territorial innovation and demonstrate how technology can improve the quality of life in rural communities.
